Gaelle Haugen

I am a Photographer in Weston, Florida, specializing in Fine Art and Black & White Portraits of Maternity, Newborns, Children of all ages, and Sports Action Photos. My passion as a photographer is to observe and document the special moments and stages in life. My mission is for my images to reach down deep in your heart and allow you to experience again the emotion of the time and event that was captured. From the day my daughter (my little miracle) was born, I wanted to grab hold of every special moment and treasure it forever. As parents and family members, we share many of the same feelings – my job is to capture those fleeting moments, and recording them for you to keep forever.

Kim Kinsella

I have been passionate about photography for as long as I can remember. As a very young girl I loved taking photos so that I would always have something tangible to remember the special people and memorable events in my life. I began taking photography classes in junior high school and have continued taking courses and intensive workshops since then to improve my knowledge, technique and skills.

Although I grew up in the Mountains of Western North Carolina and spent 16 years in the Rocky Mountains in Colorado, I love living here in South Florida and take advantage of our beautiful beaches, parks and our tropical year round outdoor climate as often as possible.  Whenever I can, I use natural light in my photography work as I love the look and feel that can be created in this environment.

My photography style could best be described as modern, fun and photojournalistic. Although I will pose subjects as needed, I strive to "capture the moment" as it naturally occurs and to photograph my subjects doing the things they love with the people they love.  I want my photos tell a story about my subjects and their lives, about who they really are, what they like to do and what is important to them. I enjoy getting to know the people I photograph and consider myself blessed and privileged whenever I am asked to enter someone's personal world and record who their story.

I am very family-oriented and enjoy spending time with my husband of 25 years and our two daughters.  I consider myself a Family Photographer and specialize in photographing every stage of family life from weddings to maternity to newborns to children to teens.  My goal is to artfully capture all the beauty and emotion of the precious moments and milestones that make up your family story. David Muir

David I. Muir is a photo-artist living in South Florida. He has a special love for candid, cultural and lifestyle photography – signature components of his photo art exhibitions. He excels at capturing a whole story through his lens, which often emits strong emotion from viewers of his work. Muir's work has qualified for juried art contests as well as group and solo fine arts exhibitions. In particular, his critically acclaimed photo collection, Pieces of Jamaica was celebrated and led to national and international tours of his photo art.

In 2012, the collection, "Pieces Of Jamaica™," which captures the candid beauty of the Jamaican people and its rich and diverse landscape, was published as Pieces of Jamaica™: The Real Rock Edition. The book features vivid photographs displaying Jamaica's rustic reality juxtaposed with spirited humanity and an intrinsic beauty found in its people.

Muir's 2015 collection, "Portraitic Perspectives," speaks to The Color of Beauty – a story not commonly told. He succeeds at displaying REAL as BEAUTIFUL, striking with his lens against pressures for retouched images that permeate magazines, billboards and social media. Muir is diligent in his efforts to capture his subjects' true essence. He stands for real and natural, and delights in challenging ... even redefining ... preconceived notions of beauty.

Muir has worked in the music business since the 1980s and remains committed to promoting Jamaican Reggae music. In 2016, his collection, "Performance Perspectives" displays the culmination of his two loves, Music and Photography. With this collection, Muir works to reveal the artistry of performance through his mastery of available light photography. He cherishes the challenge of using unpredictable and variant light sources during concerts and other live performances to create images which describe moments in time artistically.

Karin Martinez

I have been a fine art photographer working exclusively in black and white since 1992 and began specializing in children's photography in 1995. As both an artist and a photographer I am interested in capturing the mood and spirit of my subjects and this magic usually happens in a candid moment.

My photography has been exhibited at the Museum of Art in Fort Lauderdale where I placed in the HORTT as well as in last year's Heart Gallery exhibit. In addition to working with the Heart Gallery, I regularly work with the children of the CDTC/CFAP teaching workshops on basic photography and organizing gallery showings of their work.

Lisa Sandor

As a photographer, I've learned to use my camera to express myself. Finding words to describe the joy I feel in capturing intimate moments, is an impossible task. What I can say is this …photography is not work to me. It is my true passion, and I undeniably believe that I was put on this earth to share with the world, the beauty that I see in every moment. The glow of a pregnant women's skin, and the the curve of her belly, speak of many adventures yet to come. It is the most exhilarating time in a women's life, and the excitement is contagious. The delicacy of an infant takes my breath away and always puts a smile on my face. The innocence of a child's eyes, stops me and my camera dead in our tracks. Playing games and bringing a smile to a child's face isn't work at all, it is truly a blessing. I was given a gift to share beauty with the world. I capture the moments that we never want to slip away, so that they can be cherished forever. Hopefully my images, will tell you everything else you need to know.

I am a portrait photographer specializing in family and children's portraiture. Through my work, I celebrate the Family. My hope is that the images I capture will be treasured for generations to come. The children featured in the Heart Gallery need a family, and so it is my hope also, that the portraits featured in the gallery will move someone towards providing a child with a family of his or her own.

Stephen and Sandrine Flint

"With Every Picture Comes An Emotion." (Flint Photography, Inc., 2006) With the help of our subjects and this quote in mind, we try not only to express emotion but also to capture the very essence of their expressions. That is why we involve our clients in all aspects of planning their photographic experiences. We pride ourselves in taking our time and patience with our photography; therefore we never rush our sessions. We try to create a sense of feeling that will portray you, your family or your children in the best possible way. The most important thing to us is your satisfaction with our finished product. The image we initially capture is in the raw. The final printed image is therefore, fully retouched, enhanced, digitally mastered and professionally printed on archival photographic paper. Your portrait truly becomes a work of art of a very personal and professional nature: A decorative focal point for your home or office and a precious keepsake to share with family and friends for posterity. We look forward to hearing from you very soon. We promise the experience will be a memorable one.

Stephen & Sandrine Flint Here are some words we like to live by in our photography: "Maybe because it's entirely an artist's eye, patience and skill that makes an image and not his tools." (Ken Rockwell, 2005) "The camera doesn't make a bit of difference. All of them can record what you are seeing. But, you have to SEE." (Ernst Haas, 1985) "I have often thought that if photography were difficult in the true sense of the term - meaning that the creation of a simple photograph would entail as much time and effort as the production of a good watercolor or etching - there would be a vast improvement in total output. The sheer ease with which we can produce.
